We all have questions about NextGen. How is it going to work? How will it affect me? There is one group – SPARC – who is going to help answer these questions. I was fortunate enough last month to attend the SPARC kick-off meeting, and I am excited by the energy and collaboration among the members.

SPARC members will serve as NextGen Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), bringing their real-life experience to research projects and operational concept planning. Members will also help to bring insight and knowledge back to the field, serving as points of contacts within the facilities.

We all have a role in shaping NextGen and the future of the ATO. Find out if anyone from your facility is involved in SPARC. Stay informed about the changes that are taking place, and share your ideas on how to make this system even better.
