The Virtual Community connects employees to news and information, enabling dialogue across the Air Traffic Organization (ATO) regardless of location and schedule disparities.
By encouraging discussions in a virtual setting, the ATO will enable collaboration, cooperation, and openness between Virtual Community participants. The Virtual Community will contain postings about topics relevant to ATO employees, and encourages its audience to engage through comments, discussions, feedback, and suggestions.

The ATO Leading Edge Virtual Community is accessible via the Internet by any member of the public at www.atoleadingedge.com.
What are the benefits of the ATO Leading Edge Virtual Community?
The Virtual Community will provide two main benefits to the Air Traffic Organization. It will:
- Allow discussions to take place in a virtual setting. Dialogue enables collaboration, cooperation, and transparency among all participants.
- Archive information and discussions for future reference, facilitating knowledge sharing and institutional knowledge transfer to the next generation of ATO leaders.
